Scratchboard hand illustration, scanned and digitized, then made into a hand-pulled screen printed poster.
Constructed from over 1,800 individual strips of different fabrics from 1/2 in to 3/4 in in width. The quilt was given a sense of depth by considering both the color value and how the strips laid in relation to one another.
Awarded first place in its category, as well a judge’s choice award.
